PRESS RELEASE: CANADA WIDE “GOOD PEOPLE UNITED AGAINST RACISM RALLY” FOCUSES ATTENTION ON THE RISE OF RACISM AND INTOLERANCE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE “GOOD PEOPLE UNITED AGAINST RACISM RALLIES AT CITY HALLS CANADA WIDE.- On February 1st, 2019 Good People from Cities across Canada will convene at their City Hall on the first day of Black History Month, for one afternoon of unified action to raise awareness and show solidarity in the fight against racism and intolerance.

When Good People do nothing is the only time Evil Wins!

“When Good People do nothing is the only time Evil Wins,” said Marc Taylor one of the Good People United against Racism Rallies organizer. “Good People rose up to stop Hitler, Good People rose up to defeat the South, Good People rose up to help slaves fleeing tyranny, and Good People will come together on February 1st, 2019 to show their support for the fight against racism and intolerance”.

WHO: The Rallies will include good people from all ethnic groups, religious backgrounds, organizations, unions and the entire spectrum of movements for social and economic justice all of whom have a stake in this issue.

WHAT:     Good People United against Racism Rally is a 2019 Black History Month initiative. Bringing good people together at City Halls from coast to coast, on the first day of Black History Month, for one afternoon of unified action to raise awareness and show unity in the fight against racism and intolerance.

WHEN: Friday, February 1st, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 1:30pm

WHERE:   City Halls from coast to coast. We are asking everyone to assembled at their city hall no later than 12:00 Noon. Visual: Anywhere from 50 – 300+ good people from all ethnic groups, religious backgrounds, organizations, unions and the entire spectrum of movements for social and economic justice with signs at the rallies.
